  • 4 pieces pitted Medjool dates

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients: the frozen banana, strawberries, avocado, Medjool dates, almond milk, raw honey, and cocoa powder. It’s best to use a high-speed blender for a smooth texture.
  • Place the frozen banana into the blender first. This will help create a thick and creamy consistency. You want it to blend easily, so the frozen banana is key!
  • Next, add the chopped strawberries. These will not only add sweetness but also a beautiful color to your smoothie.
  • Slice the avocado in half and scoop out half of it. Add it to the blender for creaminess and healthy fats.
  • Add the Medjool dates next. Make sure they are pitted; they’ll provide a caramel-like sweetness that balances the flavors perfectly.
  • Pour in 1 cup of almond milk. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, you can start with less and add more later as needed.
