  • 2 medium Ripe Avocados Should be slightly soft to the touch.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice Juice from 1-2 fresh limes.
  • 1 small Jalapeño Pepper Finely chopped; adjust for heat preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro Chopped for flavor.
  • 1 clove Garlic Minced for depth of flavor.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 dash Black Pepper Freshly ground.

Optional Add-ins

  • 0.25 cup Diced Tomatoes For extra flavor and texture.
  • 1-2 teaspoons Cumin For additional flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Squeeze lime juice over the avocado and mash with a fork to your desired creaminess.
  • Add finely chopped jalapeño and minced garlic to the bowl, mixing well.
  • Incorporate chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper, adjusting seasoning to taste.
  • Optionally, mix in diced tomatoes or cumin for added flavor.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, then transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Serve immediately with tortilla chips or vegetables, or refrigerate for later use.

Notes

Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the dip to minimize oxidation if storing.
