  • Prepare the Ingredients: Finely chop the onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
  • Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and brown it for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the Vegetables: Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the beef. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  • Incorporate the Sauce Ingredients: Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili powder, and season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • Simmer the Mixture: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Prepare the Slider Buns: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice buns in half and place on a baking sheet.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Spoon filling onto the bottom half of each bun. Add pickles if using, then place the top half of the bun on.
  • Toast the Sliders (Optional): Place assembled sliders in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden.
