Sloppy Joe Filling

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Choose high-quality ground beef for the best flavor.

Garlic Bread

  • 1 large loaf French Bread Crispy outer crust and soft inside.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened Creates a rich, buttery base.
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced Gives the bread its signature flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped Adds color and freshness.
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheese (optional) Cheddar or mozzarella for a cheesy layer.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  • 3. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
  • 4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
  • 5. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture over both halves.
  • 6. If using cheese, sprinkle it over the garlic buttered bread.
  • 7. Bake the bread halves on a baking sheet for 10-12 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  • 8. Spoon the Sloppy Joe filling over the toasted bread.
  • 9. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
  • 10. Let cool for a minute before slicing and serve hot.
