Instructions
1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water with sugar and sprinkling yeast on top. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Make a well, add melted butter and activated yeast mixture, and mix until a soft dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about an hour until doubled in size.
5. Prepare the filling by mixing cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and green onions in a bowl.
6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the cheese mixture over it, and roll it up tightly.
7. Cut the rolled dough into 1-2 inch pieces.
8. Preheat a skillet over medium heat, add oil, and place rolls cut-side down. Cook covered for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
9. Flip the rolls and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
10. Remove from skillet, cool on a wire rack, and serve warm.
