Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add crumbled Italian sausage and cook until browned.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
Cook gnocchi in boiling water according to package instructions until they float.
Pour heavy cream into the skillet and stir to combine, allowing it to thicken slightly.
Transfer cooked gnocchi to the skillet using a slotted spoon.
Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
Add fresh spinach and stir until wilted.
Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
Remove from heat and let sit for a minute before serving.
Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and pepper if desired.
Notes
For variations, consider adding sautéed mushrooms, a splash of lemon juice, or using different greens.
