Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs Finely crushed for a smooth crust.
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted Butter Melted but not hot.
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar Packed for best results.

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk 14 ounces.
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet for melting.
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans Can substitute with walnuts.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted unsalted butter. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  • Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 9x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake the crust for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and brown sugar. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the warm filling over the baked crust and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the filling and gently press them down.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the nuts.
  • Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is bubbly.
  • Let the bars cool completely at room temperature before slicing.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate over the top before serving for an extra touch.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
