Instructions
 

  • 1. Prepare the asparagus by washing, trimming tough ends, and cutting into 2-inch pieces. Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken with turmeric, black pepper, garlic, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well and marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • 3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • 4. Transfer chicken to a plate, leaving juices in the skillet. Add asparagus and sauté for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • 5. Return chicken to the skillet, mix, and cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  • 6. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then remove from heat and let sit for a minute before serving.
  • 7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired, over rice or quinoa.
