Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Spaghetti Cook until al dente.

Sauce

  • 2 cups Pizza Sauce Store-bought or homemade.

Protein

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey or Chicken Cook until browned.

Vegetables

  • 2 medium Bell Peppers Diced.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced.

Seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning

Cheese

  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese For topping.
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Optional for added flavor.

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For sautéing.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  • Add ground turkey or chicken, cooking until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Add diced bell peppers and Italian seasoning, cooking until peppers soften, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in pizza sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with the meat and sauce mixture. Toss to coat.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  • Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
