For sautéing.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
Add ground turkey or chicken, cooking until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
Add diced bell peppers and Italian seasoning, cooking until peppers soften, about 5 minutes.
Stir in pizza sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with the meat and sauce mixture. Toss to coat.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
