  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese For a gooey, melty top layer.
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Adds a salty, nutty flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Enhances the flavor profile.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  • Season the beef with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Pour in the tomato sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare your baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  • Layer the casserole starting with a thin layer of meat sauce.
  • Add lasagna noodles, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese in layers.
  • Finish with a layer of meat sauce and top with remaining cheeses.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
