  • 1 cup Sour Cream Use full-fat for the best taste.
  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Pickles Well-drained to prevent the dip from becoming watery.
  • 1 medium Onion Caramelized for sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder Adds depth to the flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Introduces a slight tang.
  • Salt and Pepper To taste.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown and caramelized.
  • 2. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of softened cream cheese and mix until smooth and creamy.
  • 3. Add 1 cup of sour cream to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  • 4. Once the onions are caramelized and cooled slightly, add them to the mixture and stir well.
  • 5. Incorporate 1 cup of finely chopped pickles into the mixture and mix until evenly distributed.
  • 6. Add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, stirring thoroughly.
  • 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
  • 8. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
  • 9. Serve with dippers such as crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables.
