Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown and caramelized.
2. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of softened cream cheese and mix until smooth and creamy.
3. Add 1 cup of sour cream to the cream cheese and mix until well combined.
4. Once the onions are caramelized and cooled slightly, add them to the mixture and stir well.
5. Incorporate 1 cup of finely chopped pickles into the mixture and mix until evenly distributed.
6. Add 1 tablespoon of garlic powder and 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, stirring thoroughly.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as necessary.
8. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
9. Serve with dippers such as crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables.
