Instructions
Gather all ingredients: chicken, salsa verde, garlic, onion, cumin, salt, black pepper, lime juice, and cilantro.
Lightly coat the bottom of the crockpot with cooking spray or olive oil.
Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the crockpot.
Sprinkle minced garlic over the chicken.
Add diced onion on top of the chicken.
Pour salsa verde over the chicken and onion.
Sprinkle cumin, salt, and black pepper over the mixture.
Squeeze lime juice over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the sauce.
Serve warm, garnished with chopped cilantro.
