  • 4 cups Fresh Spinach Spinach wilts down significantly when cooked.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Essential for creating a creamy sauce.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced garlic adds aromatic flavor.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped for sweetness and depth.
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated for a salty, umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Used to sauté garlic and onion.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute.
  • Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach and onion mixture with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the spinach and cream cheese mixture on the bottom.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts on top and spoon the remaining spinach mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should reach at least 165°F (75°C).
  • Let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
