Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 12 ounces Pasta of choice Cooked according to package instructions until al dente.

Cajun Sausage

  • 1 pound Cajun sausage Sliced or crumbled.

Heavy Cream

  • 1 cup Heavy cream For the Alfredo sauce.

Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese For thickening the sauce.

Cajun Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning For flavoring the dish.

Garlic

  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Enhances flavor.

Olive Oil

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For sautéing.

Salt and Pepper

  • to taste Salt For seasoning.

Fresh Parsley

  • 1 handful Chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  • 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the Cajun sausage and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • 3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • 4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, heating through.
  • 5. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  • 6. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • 7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  • 8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  • 9. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
