Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add baking powder, salt, ground cinnamon, and oats to the mixture and mix well.
Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour until a crumbly dough forms.
Set aside 1 cup of the mixture for the crumble topping and press the remaining dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
In another bowl, mix blackberries with 1/4 cup of sugar and toss to coat.
Spoon the blackberry mixture evenly over the pressed dough.
Sprinkle the reserved crumble mixture evenly over the blackberries.
Bake for 35-40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the filling bubbles.
Allow to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with ice cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
