Instructions
Begin by preparing your chicken breast. Rinse it under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
Season the chicken breast generously with salt and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
Carefully place the seasoned chicken breast in the hot skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side.
Flip the chicken breast and cook for an additional 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
Chop any fresh vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
Shred the chicken using two forks or chop it into bite-sized pieces.
