  • 2 pounds Chicken Breast Fresh, boneless, skinless chicken breasts.
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise For a creamy base for the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup Hot Sauce Adjust based on personal preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Enhances flavor profile.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Provides subtle sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To enhance flavors.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground, to taste.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Choose a cheese that melts well.
  • 1 handful Green Onions Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Spread the sauce evenly over the chicken.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
