  • 2 medium Bell Peppers Preferably one red and one green, cut into thin strips.
  • 1 medium Onion Sliced into thin rings.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For marinating the steak and vegetables.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Enhances the savory flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder Adds a slight kick.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin Introduces a warm, earthy note.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Enhances all flavors.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly ground for subtle heat.
  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice Brightens the dish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Slice the flank steak into thin strips against the grain. Add to the marinade and toss to coat. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the vegetables by slicing the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.
  • Add the sliced peppers and onion to the marinated steak and toss to coat.
  • Transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket and spread it out evenly.
  • Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove from the air fryer and squeeze lime juice over the mixture before serving.
  • Serve with warm tortillas, over rice, or in a salad.

Notes

Consider adding jalapeños for extra heat or using different cuts of steak for variety.
