  • 1 lb Kielbasa Pre-cooked sausage for robust flavor.
  • 1 whole Pineapple Fresh or canned, packed in juice.
  • 2 tbsp Honey For glazing and sweetness.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Adds savory depth.
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper Freshly ground for seasoning.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking and preventing sticking.
  • 0.5 cup Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the kielbasa by making deep cuts along the sausage at one-inch intervals without cutting all the way through.
  • If using fresh pineapple, peel, core, and cut into rings. If using canned, drain and pat dry.
  • Mix honey, garlic powder, and black pepper in a small bowl to create a glaze.
  • Drizzle olive oil in a baking dish and place the kielbasa in the center with cuts facing up.
  • Tuck pineapple rings into the cuts of the kielbasa and brush with the honey glaze.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until browned and caramelized.
  • Let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For variations, consider adding jalapeños for spice or using different types of sausage.
