Marinara Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Boil salted water and cook lasagna noodles until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and cool slightly.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, half of the mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Spread 2-3 tablespoons of the ricotta mixture on each lasagna noodle, layer with pepperoni slices and remaining mozzarella cheese, then roll up.
  • Place rolled noodles seam side down in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour half of the marinara sauce over the roll-ups, ensuring they are covered.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan and remaining mozzarella cheese on top, drizzle with olive oil, and cover with foil.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
