Butter

  • 2 tablespoons Butter For sautéing onions.

  • Prepare the Dough: If using homemade pizza dough, prepare it according to your recipe. If using store-bought dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before rolling it out.
  • Caramelize the Onions: In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add sliced onions and a pinch of salt, stirring frequently. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cook the Ground Beef: In a separate skillet, heat another tablespoon of butter over medium-high. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Combine the Meat and Onions: Add the caramelized onions to the cooked ground beef and stir to combine.
  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and transfer it to a greased baking sheet.
