Instructions
Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for 30 seconds.
Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned (5-7 minutes).
Drain excess fat, leaving a small amount for moisture.
Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar, cooking for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
If using, add mixed vegetables and cook until tender (3-5 minutes).
Remove from heat, taste, and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Serve rice in bowls topped with beef mixture and garnish with green onions.
Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
