Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of instant yeast, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Mix thoroughly.
  • Gradually add 1.5 cups of warm water to the dry mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  • Prepare the filling by mixing 2 cups of shredded cheese, 0.5 cups of pizza sauce, 1-2 cups of chopped vegetables, and 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  • Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Brush melted butter over the rolled-out dough.
  • Spread the filling mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
  • Roll the dough tightly from one edge and pinch the seams to seal.
  • Slice the rolled dough into pieces about 1.5 inches thick.
  • Place each slice cut side up in a greased muffin tin.
  • Cover and let the cruffins rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Bake the cruffins for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
