Beef, turkey, or chicken can be used.

Taco Seasoning

Cheddar or Monterey Jack recommended.

8-10 ounces, cheesy or spicy flavor.

Sour Cream

Chopped for garnish.

Diced, green or red.

For sautéing.

Beaten.

Tomato Sauce
8 ounces.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add diced bell peppers and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
Sprinkle in taco seasoning and stir well. Cook for another minute.
Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it.
In a mixing bowl, combine beaten eggs and sour cream until smooth.
Add the taco filling to the sour cream mixture and stir in shredded cheese.
Crush Doritos into small pieces and spread half in the bottom of the baking dish.
Pour the meat and cheese mixture over the Doritos.
Top with remaining crushed Doritos and additional cheese if desired.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and top is golden brown.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before garnishing with green onions and serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
