  • 1/4 cup Water To adjust sauce consistency.

Instructions
 

  • Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken pieces in a single layer and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Pour in soy sauce and brown sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Add water to adjust the sauce consistency and bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce, and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
