Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in soy sauce and brown sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Add water to adjust the sauce consistency and bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce, and simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped green onions and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
