Instructions
Begin by preparing the chicken. Take 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of pepper.
Toss the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the coated chicken pieces in a single layer.
Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and freshly grated ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce into the skillet with the sautéed garlic and ginger. Stir well and allow to simmer.
Add the fried chicken back into the skillet, tossing it in the sauce to coat.
Remove from heat and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions.
