Gather all ingredients and prepare your workspace.

Add chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F) or oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if baking.
