Instructions
Prepare your ingredients: shred the cheddar cheese and chop the jalapeños.
In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese until well blended.
Add the chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture and stir well.
Spread the cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
Place the two slices together, cheese side facing each other, to form a sandwich.
In a skillet, heat one tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip the sandwich, add the remaining butter, and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before slicing.
Slice the sandwich in half diagonally and serve warm.
