Bread

Cheese

  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded Adds sharp flavor.
  • 2 ounces Cream Cheese Adds creaminess.

Jalapeños

  • 1-2 pieces Jalapeños, fresh Finely chopped or sliced, adjust for heat preference.

Butter

  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For grilling.

Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For flavor depth.
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste.
  • 1 pinch Pepper To taste.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your ingredients: shred the cheddar cheese and chop the jalapeños.
  • In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and cream cheese until well blended.
  • Add the chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture and stir well.
  • Spread the cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place the two slices together, cheese side facing each other, to form a sandwich.
  • In a skillet, heat one tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  • Carefully place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the sandwich, add the remaining butter, and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove the sandwich from the skillet and let it rest for a minute before slicing.
  • Slice the sandwich in half diagonally and serve warm.
