Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour Forms the base of the biscuits.

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter Melted and combined with the dough.
  • ¾ cup Milk Hydrates the dough.

Herbs and Spices

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Rosemary For flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For flavor.

Cowboy Butter

  • ½ cup Prepared Cowboy Butter Poured over the biscuits before baking.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Melt the unsalted butter and let it cool slightly before adding to the dry ingredients.
  • Add the milk to the melted butter and stir gently to combine.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the dried thyme, rosemary, and garlic powder.
  • Pour ½ cup of prepared cowboy butter into the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Scoop portions of the dough and drop them into the melted cowboy butter.
  • Drizzle the remaining cowboy butter over the top of the biscuits.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  • Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
