Ingredients
  

Protein

  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Cut into thin strips.

Vegetables

  • 2 cups Bell Peppers A mix of red, yellow, and green, sliced.
  • 1 medium Onion Sliced into thin strips.

Oils and Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For coating chicken and vegetables.
  • 2 tablespoons Fajita Seasoning A blend of spices for flavor.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper

Tortillas

  • 6-8 Tortillas Flour or corn, warmed before serving.

Instructions
 

  • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips, and wash and slice the bell peppers and onion into similar-sized strips.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced chicken, bell peppers, and onion. Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture and mix well.
  • Add the fajita seasoning, salt, and pepper to the bowl. Mix thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture into the air fryer basket, spreading it out evenly.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Check the internal temperature of the chicken; it should reach 165°F (75°C). If needed, cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the basket and let the fajitas sit for a minute before serving.
  • Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave until soft.
  • Serve by placing the chicken and vegetable mixture in the center of a tortilla and folding it over.
  • Add toppings like salsa, guacamole, or sour cream as desired.

Notes

For variations, consider adding more vegetables or using different proteins like shrimp or tofu.
