Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour Forms the base of the dough.

Filling Ingredients

Frosting Ingredients

Instructions
 

  • 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of the all-purpose flour, sugar, yeast, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. Mix well.
  • 2. In a small saucepan, combine the milk and butter. Heat until melted and warm, then remove from heat.
  • 3. Pour the warm milk mixture into the dry ingredients. Add the pumpkin puree and egg. Mix until combined.
  • 4. Gradually add remaining flour until the dough pulls away from the bowl. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  • 5. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • 6. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling in a small bowl.
  • 7. Roll the dough into a rectangle (16x12 inches) after punching it down.
  • 8. Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • 9. Roll the dough tightly from one long side and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  • 10. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  • 11. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • 12. For the frosting, beat cream cheese, softened butter, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until creamy.
  • 13. Once rolls are baked, let cool for 10 minutes before frosting.
  • 14. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding nuts or dried fruits for variations. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
