In a bowl, combine the tomato sauce, garlic, thyme, basil, oregano, and kosher salt.
Line a cookie sheet with foil and brush it lightly with olive oil.
Place the Portobello mushrooms stem side down on the cookie sheet and brush the tops with olive oil. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until they start to soften.
Discard any excess liquid on the cookie sheet.
Turn the mushrooms over, cover with 2 to 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese.
