  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce Adds umami and tang.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt For seasoning.
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper For seasoning.
  • 2 cups Beef broth Used for simmering the meatballs.
  • 1 handful Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients on a clean countertop.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  • Crack the egg into the bowl and mix until fully incorporated.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, roughly 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of oil. Add the meatballs to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides.
  • Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside. Add the beef broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
  • Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and let them simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Check the internal temperature of the meatballs; they should reach at least 160°F.
  • Remove the meatballs from the skillet and serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
