Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces dried pasta Choose your favorite shape
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Canola or avocado oil also works well.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder Adds savory flavor.
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano Brings an Italian flair.
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika Gives a nice smoky flavor.
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese For added richness.
  • ½ teaspoon salt Essential for flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until it’s al dente. As the pasta is being cooked, preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Drain the pasta in a colander, and toss it with the olive oil, making sure that the pasta is evenly coated.
  • Then add your seasonings (garlic powder, dried oregano, smoked paprika, and salt) and grated parmesan cheese and stir to combine.
  • Spread the pasta out in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Try not to overcrowd the pasta, as this will prevent it from crisping up properly.
  • Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket every few minutes to ensure that the pasta chips cook evenly.
  • If using the oven, preheat to 375°F (190°C). Spread out the boiled and seasoned pasta on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta chips are crispy and golden brown.
  • If necessary, cook the pasta chips for an additional 1-2 minutes in the air fryer to toast the seasonings and create a crispy texture.
  • Remove the pasta chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Shake the basket every 2 minutes: This is very important to prevent the pasta chips from burning from one side. Shaking the basket will result in even cooking.
  • Use your favorite seasonings: I usually like to do garlic and onion powder with smoked paprika. Try Italian seasoning, taco seasoning, ranch seasoning, or this amazing French fry seasoning!
  • Dips: Try marinara, guacamole, French onion dip, lime crema, garlic sauce, pesto, or ranch. You can even serve them with baba ghanoush or my favorite hummus recipe!
  • Gluten-free pasta: Will work in this recipe.
