- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 cup pesto
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 egg beaten egg (for egg wash)
Preheat your oven to 400℉.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface until it measures about 15×12 inches.
Spread ½ cup of the pesto evenly over the puff pastry.
Sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese over the pesto.
Cut the pastry into 1-inch strips.
Fold each strip in half and twist them a few times.
Place the twists onto an ungreased baking sheet, leaving about an inch between them.
Repeat with the remaining puff pastry sheet, pesto, and Parmesan cheese.
Brush each twist with the beaten egg.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes before serving.
