Equipment

  • Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 package fresh ravioli (1 pound), cheese, spinach or any filling you like
  • 1 cup baby tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon basil pesto
  • 1/2 cup white navy beans
  • pinch chili flakes
  • salt to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for sprinkling, extra

Instructions

  • Start by preheating a 9-inch deep skillet over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt, creating a rich base for your dish.
  • Once the butter is melted, add in the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute, stirring frequently. You'll notice the lovely aroma filling your kitchen!
  • Next, introduce the fresh ravioli and baby tomatoes to the skillet. Sauté these together for about a minute, allowing the ravioli to absorb some of the flavors.
  • Add in the fresh basil leaves. It’s amazing how this herb enhances the dish! Sauté for another two minutes until everything is well combined.
  • Pour in the vegetable stock and cover the skillet. Let it cook, checking occasionally until the ravioli is tender, which should take about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Once the ravioli is tender, stir in the white navy beans and basil pesto. Cook for another three minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Finish off your dish by seasoning with a pinch of chili flakes and salt to taste. You can also sprinkle some freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top for an extra touch of flavor.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and serve the One Pan Ravioli Recipe immediately. Enjoy the vibrant flavors and comforting textures that you've just created!
  • Don’t forget to savor each bite and share the joy of this meal with others. It’s a dish that brings people together!

Notes

  • Tip 1: White beans and pasta are a perfect pair for me; however, feel free to swap that for some asparagus, broccoli, or chickpeas!
  • Tip 2: Chilli flakes and a sprinkle of fresh Parmesan cheese take my One-Pot Ravioli to the next level!
