- 1 ¾ cups yogurt I like nonfat vanilla or plain Greek yogurt.
- 2 cups fruit of choice Diced if large, strawberries, blueberries, peaches...see blog post for more ideas.
- ½ cup granola See my Healthy Granola for a recipe.
- Optional mix-ins Chia seeds, nuts, coconut flakes, cinnamon.
- Sweetener Such as honey or maple syrup, optional.
Start by gathering your ingredients: yogurt, fruit, and granola. Make sure your fruits are washed and cut into bite-sized pieces if necessary.
In the bottom of 2 glass jars or similar containers, layer about 1/3 cup of the yogurt.
If you’re using jam or pie filling, you can add that first before the yogurt. This step is optional.
Next, add a layer of your chosen fruit. Be generous here; it’s what gives the parfait its freshness and flavor.
Add a layer of granola on top of the fruit. This will add a satisfying crunch.
Include any optional mix-ins you like at this stage, such as chia seeds or nuts.
Repeat the layers once or twice more to achieve your desired thickness.
Finish with a sprinkle of granola and a drizzle of sweetener if desired.
Cover and refrigerate your parfaits until you’re ready to enjoy them.
When you’re ready to serve, simply grab a jar and dig in!
