Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease your mini donut pan with non-stick spray or butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and egg until combined.
  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  • Add vanilla bean paste and mix gently.
  • Divide batter into four bowls and add food coloring to each.
  • Fill donut cavities with alternating colors using a piping bag.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  • Decorate with icing or toppings as desired.
