Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Whisk until evenly mixed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter. Combine thoroughly.
  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until hot.
  • Prepare the cream cheese filling by beating the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in chopped strawberries.
  • Drop batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Allow the doughnuts to cool slightly before slicing them in half horizontally.
  • Spoon the cream cheese and strawberry filling onto the bottom half of each doughnut.
  • Place the top half of the doughnut on the filling to create your doughnut burger.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving for an elegant touch.
