Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix sugar and vegetable oil until smooth. Add egg and red food coloring, mixing well.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients in three batches, mixing gently until just combined.
Use a cookie scoop to portion dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between cookies.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until soft and slightly puffy. Let cool on sheets.
For frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth, then gradually add powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency.
Once cookies are cool, frost them using a piping bag or knife.
