Ingredients

  • 6 medium Fresh Apples Granny Smith or Fuji recommended, washed and dried.

Candy

  • 1.5 cups Jolly Rancher Candies Broken into smaller pieces.

Liquid

  • 0.25 cup Water For melting the candies.

Miscellaneous

  • 1 can Cooking Spray To prevent sticking.
  • 1 cup Optional Sprinkles or Edible Glitter For decoration.

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Remove stems and insert sticks into each apple.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine Jolly Rancher candies and water. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly coated with cooking spray.
  • Dip each apple into the melted candy mixture, rotating to coat fully. Allow excess to drip off.
  • If desired, sprinkle toppings immediately after dipping.
  • Repeat for all apples, reheating candy as necessary.
  • Allow the coated apples to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to an hour until the candy sets.
  • Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.
