Instructions
Start by melting unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat until completely melted. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, dried dill, dried parsley, dried chives, and onion powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk and sour cream until smooth.
Slowly pour the melted butter into the buttermilk and sour cream mixture while whisking continuously.
Add salt and freshly ground black pepper, stirring thoroughly to combine.
Gradually add the dry herb mixture to the creamy base, whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Transfer the dressing to a clean jar or airtight container and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
Stir before serving. Enjoy as a salad dressing, dip, or topping for grilled vegetables.
