  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Finely chopped, use both green and white parts.

Cheese

  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or Monterey Jack, melts well.

Condiments

  • 1 unit Fresh Lime Juice Juice of 1 lime for brightness.

Herbs

  • 1 handful Fresh Cilantro Chopped for garnish.

Snacks

  • 1 bag Tortilla Chips For dipping.

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cottage cheese until smooth.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning and mix well.
  • Finely chop 1/4 cup of green onions and add to the mixture.
  • Incorporate 1 cup of shredded cheese and stir until fully integrated.
  • Squeeze in the juice of 1 lime and mix thoroughly.
  • Transfer the dip to an oven-safe dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños. For a healthier option, substitute half of the cottage cheese with Greek yogurt.
