Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Whisk until creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Mix in cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla until combined.
Gradually fold in the flour and chocolate chips until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the ganache, heat heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
Pour ganache over cooled brownies and sprinkle with candy-coated chocolate pieces. Let set for 30 minutes before cutting.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
