Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs until fully combined. Gradually pour this mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until a soft dough forms.
  • Knead the dough gently for about 1-2 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  • Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thickness and cut out doughnut shapes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the doughnuts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the doughnuts from the oil and let them cool slightly before filling.
  • Fill the doughnuts using a piping bag with the cheesecake mixture.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
