Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the whole wheat pasta and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
3. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook in the skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
4. Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest before slicing.
5. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
6. Return sliced chicken to the skillet and stir to combine with garlic.
7. Add cooked pasta and reserved pasta water, tossing to combine.
8. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
9. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
