  • 0.5 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet or dark, for added indulgence.
  • 2 large Eggs Bind ingredients and provide structure.
  • 0.5 cup Greek Yogurt Adds creaminess and moisture.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Add honey or maple syrup to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  • Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the Greek yogurt until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Once cooled, slice and enjoy or store for later.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
