Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare a loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
Add honey or maple syrup to the mashed bananas and mix well.
Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in the Greek yogurt until fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Once cooled, slice and enjoy or store for later.
