Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat and let it cool slightly.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, whisking vigorously after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla flavoring.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, folding gently.
  • Fold in butterscotch chips and chopped nuts.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
