Oven
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place all the ingredients into a large bowl. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Storage: Any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Ensure they are completely cooled before placing them in the container.
- Freezing: You can freeze cooked meatballs for up to three months. Just place them in a freezer-safe bag or container. You can reheat them directly from frozen.
- Pairing: Serve your Gluten Free Meatballs over gluten-free pasta or with a side of roasted veggies for a full meal.
- Spice it up: Feel free to add more spices or herbs to personalize the flavor. A bit of crushed red pepper can add a nice kick!
- Meat alternatives: For a different flavor, you can substitute the ground beef with turkey or a plant-based ground meat alternative.
