Ingredients
  

Bread

  • 1 large round loaf Sourdough or Artisan Bread A good bread with a crusty exterior and soft interior.

Butter

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted for richness.

Garlic

  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.

Herbs and Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley Adds freshness.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Enhances flavor.

Cheese

  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Provides gooey texture.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Adds a sharp flavor.

Optional Ingredients

  • Red Pepper Flakes For a spicy kick.
  • Fresh Herbs (Basil or Chives) For garnishing.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in minced garlic, dried parsley, and salt. Let sit for a few minutes.
  • Make vertical and horizontal cuts in the round loaf of bread, creating a grid pattern.
  • Brush the melted garlic butter mixture all over the top and between the cuts of the bread.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
  • Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes and fresh herbs.
  • Serve warm, allowing guests to pull apart the pieces.
