Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in minced garlic, dried parsley, and salt. Let sit for a few minutes.
Make vertical and horizontal cuts in the round loaf of bread, creating a grid pattern.
Brush the melted garlic butter mixture all over the top and between the cuts of the bread.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts of the bread.
Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute, and optionally sprinkle with red pepper flakes and fresh herbs.
Serve warm, allowing guests to pull apart the pieces.
